Grab the opportunity to do things different and do them your way!

If our past two years have taught us anything, it’s to do things your way, not because “tradition” says you have to. Couples are taking this opportunity to do their wedding differently and running with it.

We are seeing couples turning their weddings into backyard playgrounds including bouncy houses, piñatas, food trucks ( or perhaps a Prosecco truck ) and even changing up those ordinary and boring wedding timelines.

One of our favorites is putting cocktail hour first! Why not welcome your guests with a few cocktails to get the evening started?! This allows your guests time to say hello to long lost family they haven’t seen in a while or time for old friends to catch up. It also gives extra time for those late arrivals, even though the promised you they wouldn’t be, from interrupting your ceremony.

It is also a perfect time for you crazy kids time together before you say I do’s. Whether it is to have that first look you will never forget, or for just a moment to yourselves before the party really gets started.

Stop doing things just because that’s the way they have always been done and do it cuz you want to. This is your party and you can cry if you want to!
